Diamond Head Spot

This is Diamond Head Hike. This was not my first time doing the hike BUT this was taken the first time I ever been to this part. When you get to the top, its fenced all around and its a place for everyone to look out at the view. And on the other side of the fence thing, there's a sign that says something along the lines that it's the end of the hike. But if you just hop over, and follow the trail, there are other bunkers, this being one.

This is one of my favorite hikes just due to the fact that I love this spot in particular! Its an easy hike, good short workout, and once you get to the top its windy and has a beautiful view. I'm not too much of a people person (sorta haha) so this spot is perfect. No one normally hops over and goes here. So while the top is normally crowded as heck, if you just climb on over, you're pretty much in your own secluded area. It's super nice and peaceful.

High School CHAMPIONSHIP

MY FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Oh sweet victory. Lol Winning my high school championship for volleyball was probably one of the most glorious moments of my life. I along with 5 other teammates made the all-island team. I also made MVP of my league. So my senior year was a pretty rewarding year for me.

Moving to Guam my junior year to live with my grandma was completely my own decision. And my grandma and mom told me that I had to join volleyball to get involved. I was scared out of my ass because I was already late for tryouts. But making the team and leaving my senior year with a championship under my name felt pretty amazing. It was probably one of the hardest things I worked for. And I am more than thankful for my family who pushed/forced me to join.

Hookah Bookah

So I'm like the biggest angel in the world. I've never really drank, smoked, or basically done anything against the good girl books. During this past semester was my first time trying hookah/ shisha. I'm such a good girl that I won't even tell my mother that I've done this, even though it's legal and I'm of age. Haha!

Well this is at Burning Tree. I love the chill vibe. We just go there to hangout usually at the end of week, to play cards, or chess. And yeah. This is another "first".

Marriage Equality

This is the first time I've ever been a part of a rally (thing) outside the Capitol, and it is also the first that I've sat in on a hearing.

So for the past few days there has been a hearing about the Hawaii Gay Marriage Bill, at the HI State Capitol, in the auditorium. There was and has been thousands to testify about the Bill.

Same-sex marriage is still yet a topic of argument, even in this day and age. Which I find kinda horrifying, and more than anything sad. Gay people are PEOPLE. And I don't see how they are stripped the right to marry someone they choose and love, just due to the gender of their partner. Everyone, at least in this country is born equal. And without a doubt should have equal rights and opportunities, this being one.

I grew up in a big yet full house, that consisted of my family: my parents, siblings, and gay aunties and uncles.  This untraditional household is probably something that many may not have been raised in. But I was and am more than grateful to have had them all play a huge part in my upbringing. By helping to take care of and support me, since I was in like 2nd grade. Being a "scaredycattt" can apply to many things, just not my ability to stand up for the people I love, what I think is right and what I believe in. And this is one.

With that said, I proudly and strongly support this Bill for same-sex marriage.
